Become a Surprise Tangle Instructor

• You must be a CZT (Certified Zentangle Teacher)
• You should have some experience teaching on Zoom.
• You are okay with your class being recorded.
• You agree to teach as a volunteer without monetary compensation.
• You have a doc cam (or something) for viewing your drawing on Zoom.
• You have good internet and sound so that you come across clear when teaching.

• You will not be paid for your class, but we hope you will pick up more students for your own classes. You will get lots of exposure and are welcome to self promote. 

• Classes are 90 minutes long. In the beginning the host (Jacki Rose) will have opening remarks and introduce you. Please end your class 10-15 minutes early to allow time for the mosaic, group discussion & closing remarks.

• Classes are geared towards all levels. Easy enough for the beginner, engaging enough for the seasoned tangler. Traditional black & white Zentangle with graphite shading. 

• Most students have Zentangle experience & interested in a relaxing class so please make sure to make time for Tanglers to focus quietly on their tangling. In other words, please do not talk the entire time.

• Please stick to using the Recommended Supplies: Micron 01 Black Pen, PN Pen, Pencil, Tortillion and Zentangle 3.5" Square tile or Zendala (round). Plus a thicker pen like 05 or 08 if needed. Let Jacki know ahead of time which tile you will be using so that students can be notified prior to class.

• You get to promote your Zentangle business, upcoming classes, etc.
• Your website and/or facebook page along with your name & photo will be posted on the SurpriseTangle/Rejuventangle website. 
• You will be recognized in the Rejuventangle Newsletter (over 500 Tanglers) in the Florida Zentangle Facebook Group and possibly some other facebook groups.
• You are encouraged to post your class and other Surprise Tangle classes on your facebook page, newsletter, etc. if you feel comfortable doing so.
• In addition to getting lots of exposure, you are invited to attend all Surprise Tangle classes for free! That's a value of over $250.

• Please post your completed tile in the album for your class on the Surprise Tangle Facebook page.
• All students will receive an email following your class with the recording link, your name and website (or facebook page if you don't have a website).
• A newsletter will go out the following day thanking you for the class and will include your photo and link to your website (or facebook page).

• Students pay $18 per 90 minute class
• The money goes towards registration processing fees, website fees and Zoom fees. 
• It also goes towards the time and energy it takes to keep the website updated with classes, sending out newsletter announcements, posting on facebook pages, handling promotion, registrations and other responsibilities that goes along with organizing these events.

All of the dates are full, however, we may be adding more dates in the near future. We also have a sub list for scheduled CZTs who need to cancel. So please fill out the form and we will do our best to get you on the 2025 schedule.
